There’s no button more deeply satisfying to press in the entire world. The shutter of the old 35mm cameras my dad left lying around the house as I was growing up left a lasting impression. While hipsters now tote these “vintage” lenses as accessories, and Instagram selfies reign supreme, my appreciation for the well-framed still image abides.
