As a member of the organizing committee for the 2021 History in the Making conference at Concordia University, Danielle collaborated with a designer to produce the conference website on Wix.
Danielle was featured as a guest on The Nasiona Podcast, a podcast that shares stories that explore the spectrum of human experience and glimpse into Othered worlds.
The Surrogacy Debate in India
As a politics editor at The Conversation US, Danielle commissioned, edited, and published an article on women who work as surrogates in India. Then, in partnership with News Deeply‘s Women and Girls team, she helped produce a complementary short film.
Using HTML and Socrata, Danielle built a prototype for this interactive data tool for the Southern Regional Education Board. While the prototype is no longer live, it was a critical step in helping the organization develop the SREB Insights tool to share a rich trove of policy data from 16 states.
Danielle won 1st place in the graduate student presentation competition at the 2021 Sustainability and the Climate Crisis week of discussion at Concordia University. The presentation provides an overview of her research on intergenerational justice and urban sprawl.
As Head of Communications at the Milieux Institute, Danielle collaborated with eight research cluster leaders, executive leadership, a web developer, and a graphic designer to write content and produce the institute’s first online version of its annual report.
Spotlight – Principal Inspires Teachers to Grow Through New Evaluation Process
At the Southern Regional Education Board, Danielle produced a series of multimedia “Spotlights” to showcase best practices in education policy. After its release, the principal featured in the video was hired by the Arkansas Department of Education to travel across the state sharing her practices.
