In 2013, I was asked to contribute to 50 Shades of Black, “a community-engaged platform for affirming the beauty found in every human being and critically examining sexuality & skin tone in the formation of identity.”
My piece, “Papa, am I Black?” is an exploration of my experience of growing up biracial in the United States.
It was eventually published in the first volume of the collection, which is available on Amazon.
